The creative economy produces an estimated 50–186 million jobs worldwide. SFAN has partnered with the British Council to bring you the SoCreative eLearning Course for entrepreneurs in industries like fashion, music, film, arts and crafts, and photography.

The content for this course was developed by British Council’s partners at the University of Arts London, Henley Business School, Belle and Co, Afrinolly as well as various partners across the continent.

What you will learn

Launching Your Creative Enterprise

Creative entrepreneurship foundations, technology, business planning, marketing, finance, IP, leadership, ethics, branding and sustainability.

Growing Your Creative Enterprise

Strategies for growing creative enterprises, including business promotion, pitching, formal financing, team management, and asset protection.

Social Impact Through Entrepreneurship

Balancing profit and social impact, social innovation (including human-centered design), pivoting strategies, technology's role, inclusion and sustainability themes, and financing for impact enterprises.

Creative Economy Policy

Understanding the creative economy, its role in sustainable development, approaches to creative economy policy, and steps for developing or strengthening it.

Experiential learning with success-based pricing
